The Witcher is a fantasy drama, based on novels by the same name. It shows Geralt, the Riveia (played by the stunning Henry Cavill) fighting monsters in a beautiful universe clouded by dark forces and magic.

The show has amazing characters, beautiful songs, great cinematics and intense fight scenes. It is what Game of thrones could have been. Season 2 of this show will be the biggest thing this year.

If you are looking for something light to watch over the weekend, Wandavision could be a perfect choice.

It is a unique take over the marvel cinematic universe and shows two of its superheroes, Wanda and Vision, living out their sort of perfectly normal lives in a comedic sit-com setup.

The show is funny and unique. And if you are a fan of the MCU, then you most certainly cannot miss out on this.

The Expanse is a science-fiction drama based on a series of novels by the same name. It shows a future in which humans have colonized the solar system and have divided into three groups.

The people of Earth, Mars and the Belt. The Belt includes people aboard space crafts and space stations, mining the outer planets of the solar system.

Between the power struggles among these three nations, there is drama, love, battles, and forces beyond human comprehension. This show has the most realistic space battles and is a different take from Star Wars or Star Trek.

It is an underrated show that you must not miss out on. Currently, there are five seasons in total with season six in the works. It is available on Amazon Prime.

  1. Snowpiercer

Snowpiercer is also a science-fiction drama based on a series of novels of the same name.

It shows a future in which the Earth has plunged into another ice age, thanks to human actions that caused global warming.

The only survivors on Earth are in a futuristic train that is running across a track all over the world. The train cannot stop is everyone on board has to survive.

Now imagine, the politics of the entire world, the drama, conflicts and human nature, all confined to the cabins of a train — a train that is 1000 cabins long.

You get to watch some amazing characters trying to survive and change the new world order that lives within the train.

This show has a kind of story you do not see every day and one that leaves you biting your nails. The show is available on Netflix and currently, season 2 is on air.

  1. The Mandalorian

You must have all seen baby Yoda memes by now and that alone should be enough to persuade you to watch this show.

He is so cute! Mandalorian is a science-fiction saga based in the Star Wars universe. It’s about the adventures of one of the few remaining survivors from the planet Mandalor.

Watch him battle in his shiny armour across the entire universe, with his destiny linked to a child connected to the force.

This show has some of the most beautiful cinematics you will ever see. It does not matter if you have never seen the Star Wars franchise; you will understand it and you will love it.

The Mandalorian is available on Disney+. Currently, there are two seasons. The episodes are short and fun.
